Salary - 55K Blue Mountains & Central West

Essential requirements:

• Experience in administration including experience in the use of computer-based systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and records management systems.
• Knowledge of financial and human resource management procedures, policies and practices, and contract administration

 

To be successful in the role, ideally, you will have:

• Customer service skills
• Good time management skills
• Aptitude for learning and adaptation

 

Agency Overview:

The Planning, Industry and Environment Cluster brings together the functions from the former Planning & Environment and Industry Clusters.

The new Cluster will drive for greater levels of integration and efficiency across key areas such as long term planning, precincts, housing, property, infrastructure priorities, open space, the environment, our natural resources – land, water, mining – energy, and growing our industries. In particular, there will be a redoubling of emphasis on regional NSW.

 

National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) manages, conserves and cares for land in national parks and reserves. NPWS links customer, conservation and cultural outcomes in a sustainable way by building participation in the management and use of parks.

Good to know:

A Recruitment Pool may be established for future roles with similar focus capabilities. The Recruitment Pool may be available to hiring managers from Planning and Environment Cluster and other NSW Public Sector agencies over an 18-month period.

The NPWS is a non-smoking workplace and smoking is not permitted in national parks.
