As a member of a supportive, productive and effective team, you will provide visitors with information and advice promoting tourism aspects of Tasmania as a destination over our busy summer period. Both the City of Launceston Visitor Information Centre in the CBD and the First Basin Cataract Gorge summer satellite centre are key information points for potential and current visitors, tourism industry suppliers and another relevant stakeholder. This exciting and varied casual role exists to provide high level, reliable and effective service to our visitors by using electronic systems to plan personal and group itineraries, create sales and undertake reservations while optimising relationships with suppliers and tourism providers throughout the state.
