Amanda Jeffs has been at AUT 4 years, from the very beginning of the Social Media Team. She has been instrumental in building the social media content strategy for AUT from scratch, and training and enabling academics and allied staff all across AUT on social media and personal branding.
Now as the Social Media Manager, she has two amazing team members, (both AUT grads with agency and freelance experience) working alongside her to take AUT’s social media to the next level.
We now operate like an agency in that we have portfolios of key stakeholders across AUT who we work with to help improve strategy, create content, and upskill all staff, and oversees all the other social media accounts that exist across AUT.
Amanda’s team continues to lead the way in making AUT the ‘The Social University’ and everything we do relates to the key strategic pillars from the AUT Directions.
Amanda has been working in Digital Marketing, Branding, Web Design, Email Marketing and Social Media for the last 12 years, spending 4 years in agency before joining AUT.
She has spoken at Marketing Conferences about her work and regularly advises staff and students about social media strategy, best practice, and personal branding across the university.
