xAmplify and Coupa appointed to provide services to government agencies

xAmplify Group Pty Ltd, in partnership with NASDAQ-listed company Coupa Software, has been appointed to the GovERP Complementary (Edge) Capabilities Panel to provide government agencies and departments with Coupa’s cutting edge Business Spend Management (BSM) system.

With this new appointment, xAmplify and Coupa will now be able to deliver sourcing, contract management, eProcurement and procurement reporting processes to the government agencies.

“We are proud to offer federal government departments and agencies Coupa’s BSM solutions, providing greater insights into departmental business spend,” xAmplify’s CEO Ken Maxwell said.

“The APS can benefit from greater consistency, a reduction in manual processing and a more streamlined approach to its current sourcing, contract management, eProcurement and procurement reporting. The Coupa platform provides a next generation, born-in-the-cloud solution that creates a user-friendly experience, guaranteeing maximum user uptake.”

Meanwhile, Coupa’s Managing Director Stuart O’Neill states that its BSM platform will provide greater visibility into and control over how government departments undertake procurements and spend money.

Coupa’s BSM platform, which was brought into the Australian market via a partnership with xAmplify, is designed to give organisations greater visibility into their spend via a single source where all spend data is stored and accessed according to business processes.

By utilising the BSM platform, government organisations can leverage a single, intuitive user interface for all transactional spend activities across procurement, invoicing, expenses, and pay.

This will also further support xAmplify’s capability to deliver for government and large organisations as the country’s newest fully integrated digital and end-to-end IT services company.

“We are excited to work with xAmplify to support government departments in gaining control of their procurement and invoicing transactions from ageing systems,” Managing Director O’Neill said.

“Technology is fast evolving with digital transformation rapidly becoming a key focus for the government – digitising processes that embed policies delivers productivity and value for the taxpayer.
