THE ROLE
Air Traffic Controllers are responsible for managing the safe and orderly flow of aircraft. This is a highly stimulating role that requires a level of commitment and responsibility.
Air Traffic Controllers are based all around the country, operating out of one of our two major centres in Melbourne or Brisbane and also from 28 control towers at international and regional airports across Australia.
As a Trainee Air Traffic Controller, you will receive comprehensive training from our Registered Training Organisation based in Melbourne. Training is delivered via a combination of classroom based and practical training. Upon successful completion of training, a nationally recognised qualification will be awarded in the form of a Diploma of Aviation (Air Traffic Control).
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking women and men who come from a diverse range of backgrounds to become Air Traffic Controllers. You do not require aviation experience to become an Air Traffic Controller.
