$77,095 to $86,505 ACT > Barton

Our ideal applicant is a motivated Level 1-2 support or equivalent team member experienced in delivering ICT support and other functions for their agency or organisation.

To be successful in this position, you will have excellent communication skills, experience in providing ICT support services (or equivalent), a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to work with limited direction.

We would also consider applicants with commensurate ICT support skills and experience. ICT Project Management skills and experience will also be highly regarded.

 

The key duties of the position include:

  1. Coordinate and deliver ICT support, including network access issues across multiple platforms e.g. GovTeams, Microsoft Office suite and network.
  2. Provide assistance and support to the IPEA ICT and Project Team.
  3. Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues to achieve outcomes.
  4. Identify opportunities to improve ICT system processes and offerings.
  5. Contributing to regular project and general reporting, including status updates.
  6. Assisting with identification and management of risks, issues and benefits relating to the work the team undertakes.
  7. Assisting with quality management to ensure that deliverables are fit for purpose and meet colleagues, client and stakeholder needs.

Eligibility

  1. 1-2 years’ experience in ICT support or equivalent is preferable
  2. Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes.
  3. Strong customer service focus
  4. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively as a member of small teams.
  5. Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  6. Excellent attention to detail.

Please note, under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS unless the Agency delegate has agreed, in writing.

This is a designated security position. The successful applicant will be required to obtain a security clearance at the Baseline level.
