Super SA is a branch of the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF). Super SA has been operating for more than 100 years and services the employees of the South Australian Public Sector. We administer the super accounts for over 217,000 members across 10 different schemes, in line with the relevant Acts and Regulations. We are seeking enthusiastic people with a commitment to service excellence for a number of frontline Member Services Officer roles within Super SA.

The Member Services Officer forms part of a strong team that provides a customer-focused service to Super SA Members and stakeholders for various superannuation schemes and products.

The role works in a service delivery environment, providing contact centre and face to face member services. In the role, you will provide financial information both verbally and in writing in a timely and professional manner. You will also develop and maintain a practical knowledge of superannuation legislation, policy and procedures and maintain a sound knowledge of all Super SA schemes.

 

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Excellent communication and engagement skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience, enthusiasm and self-motivation in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to positively engage Members with inbound and outbound calls within a fast-paced call-centre environment.
  • Experience in handling difficult situations in a calm and positive manner.
  • The ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with members and colleagues.
  • Focus and drive to exceed service levels for our Members.
  • Ability to embrace new methods and be adaptable in a changing environment.

 

There are multiple temporary roles available, up to 12 months. Super SA will establish a pool of suitable candidates who may be employed at any time throughout a 12 month period.

Contracts may be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, with the salary adjusted accordingly.

An individual recommended for engagement to a role will be subject to a satisfactory criminal history check in accordance with the DTF Pre-Employment Screening Policy and Procedure and every three years thereafter.

Some out of hours work and intrastate/interstate travel may be required.

  1. Knowledge of, and commitment to, customer service excellence, particularly in a high volume contact centre environment.
  2. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with demonstrated ability to communicate well across multiple channels including phone, email and face-to-face.
  3. Able to handle difficult situations in a calm, positive and objective manner, and the ability to deal with sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy and maintain confidentiality.
  4. Able to work on multiple tasks and prioritise those tasks to meet deadlines.
