Global Leadership Institute launches cybersecurity courses

The Global Leadership Institute (GLI), a leading provider of leadership and governance programmes with a special focus on police and cybersecurity, is thrilled to announce the approval of four new courses:
- Master of Counterterrorism Leadership
- Graduate Diploma of Counterterrorism Leadership
- Graduate Certificate in Leadership
- Graduate Certificate in Leadership (Cybersecurity)
Ian Stewart, the former commissioner of Queensland Police and the current Chair of the Governing Board of GLI, expressed his delight at the approval of these courses and commended the team for their hard work and dedication. “This is a significant milestone for GLI, enhancing our capacity to equip leaders with the skills needed to tackle contemporary challenges in counterterrorism and cybersecurity,” said Stewart.
Kevin Tickle, the president of GLI, shared his joy and enthusiasm for this new phase of growth. “The addition of these courses marks an exciting development for our institute, aligning with our mission to provide cutting-edge education and training for future leaders,” Tickle stated.
Harvinder Singh, the Chair of the Academic Board, acknowledged the tireless efforts of Denise Austin and the Academic Board in bringing these programmes to fruition. “Their dedication has been instrumental in securing approval for these innovative courses, which will undoubtedly strengthen our academic offerings and broaden our impact,” remarked Singh.
GLI, based in Brisbane, offers a diverse range of programmes, including the highly regarded Master of Police Leadership.
