LG innovates Australian workplaces with future-proof technology

LG Business Solutions has announced its renewed focus to deliver forward-looking innovative solutions across its IT and Information Display (ID) portfolio, with products designed for Australian workplaces within the corporate enterprise, education, hospitality, government, and healthcare sectors.
The local commitment follows the announcement earlier this year from LG Electronics CEO William Cho regarding the company’s global vision to become a ‘Smart Life Solutions Company’ and accelerating the expansion of its B2B business.
“In recent years, almost every industry has embraced technology as a tool to keep up with changing needs and demands. From connecting remote students to the classroom to enhancing contactless customer service in hospitality and supporting the practice of medical professionals, Australian businesses across sectors have relied on technology to aid in convenience and improvement of the customer experience during periods of flux,” said Brad Reed, Head of B2B Marketing (Solutions for Business) at LG Electronics Australia.
“As technology cements itself at the core of the future of business, we are committed to accelerating the B2B business locally by investing in the development of best-in-class fit-for-purpose technology solutions for Australian workplaces.”
Addressing the needs of the modern Australian hybrid workplace, LG offers hardware products that bridge the gap between remote and in-person office setups. The company’s monitor and laptop computing line-up can help facilitate collaboration between professionals, whether working remotely or together in the office.
In educational settings, LG innovation enhances learning by creating efficiencies for educators while promoting student collaboration across hybrid classrooms. Fit-for-purpose LG display solutions, such as the LG One:Quick video conferencing range, unlock convenience for educators in a variety of learning spaces, from larger university halls to smaller student focus groups.
Meanwhile, catering to the growing popularity of gaming in Australia, LG recently demonstrated its broad line-up of innovative gaming monitors and TVs at PAX 2023 from October 6–8. The latest range of LG UltraGearTM monitors and the LG OLED Flex deliver next-generation immersive gaming experiences with fast, life-like visuals that put players at the heart of the action.
LG delivers a range of display and back-end management solutions for the hospitality sector that are designed to help hotel and venue managers streamline in-room entertainment options. The company’s Pro:Centric system addresses the growing demand for in-room technology by allowing managers to connect numerous properties into a single cloud service to coordinate in-room TV channels and analyse guest viewing behaviours to better cater for their needs.
Medical displays from LG that deliver true-to-life colour reproduction in a variety of medical environments address the need for precise diagnostics within the medical sector. And with Australia’s ‘digital health’ market estimated to reach $10.96 billion by 2030,2 more health professionals are turning to innovative technologies.
LG displayed its latest purpose-built medical monitors, including the LG 31HN713D IPS Diagnostic Monitor designed specifically for mammography, at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) Annual Scientific Meeting held in Brisbane from October 19–20. As an event exhibitor, LG demonstrated how innovative features, including large, wide screens and high-quality IPS displays, produce clear images across multiple environments and modalities to support medical professionals in delivering more accurate diagnostics.
As a trusted business solutions manufacturer, LG will continue a local focus on accelerating the B2B business by developing fit-for-purpose IT and ID solutions that address the changing needs of Australian businesses.
