Jobs first plan: $5 million customer experience grants open

In another boost for Territory small businesses, applications have now opened for the Territory Labor Government’s Small Business CX Grants.
The grants are designed to improve customer experience, and small business owners can access up to $20,000 in grants, on a 50:50 co‑contribution basis.
The grant is one of seven small business survival initiatives released in the Jobs First Plan as part of November’s Budget. They all aim to help Territory small businesses rebuild and recover from the economic impacts of the coronavirus crisis.
The CX Grant will specifically target businesses offering products and services directly to the public, to enhance the overall experience for customers. Upgrades must improve front-of-house facilities for visitors.

“The Territory Labor Government is backing in small business – they are our job makers and these grants help them make more jobs. While we are leading the national comeback from the coronavirus crisis, we know it’s still tough for some businesses,” Chief Minister, Michael Gunner said.
“That’s why we are doing everything we can to make it even easier for businesses to serve their customers and be part of the rebound. The Territory is Australia’s comeback capital, and we want as many Territory businesses as possible to be part of the comeback,” Chief Minister Michael said.
