CDFS, the organisation responsible for the facility, plans to significantly expand its workforce, expecting to grow from nine to 18 employees, which will create new opportunities in the forensics and cybersecurity sectors.

Located in the South Jerrabomberra Regional Jobs Precinct, the facility offers convenient access to essential decision-makers and federal agencies near Canberra. CDFS thrives on its close collaboration with government entities, focusing on digital forensics and cybersecurity. “This precinct gives investors access to a highly skilled and educated local workforce. It aims to build a sustainable business hub offering fast-tracked planning approvals,” stated Minister for Regional NSW, Tara Moriarty.
The government’s investment in the precinct’s infrastructure, including enhanced roads, utilities, and NBN services, significantly boosts its appeal to technology and cybersecurity companies. Steve Whan, Member for Monaro, stated, “With the rapid growth of areas like Jerrabomberra, precincts like this are ensuring we can keep highly qualified and skilled workers in their local area and not lose their talents to the ACT or other major cities.”
