Uphire, a specialist access equipment rental company, has announced its successful deployment of Inauro’s Perspio platform to operationalise the use of telematics across the fleet and offer its customers a Personal Command Center.

“To support our telematics ambitions and ensure our equipment provides our customers with the best outcomes in terms of safety and efficiency, we needed to make a choice between rationalising our telematics hardware or moving to a more agile way of working which is better suited to our operation,” Uphire’s Business Services Manager Ilsa Walsh said.

“Perspio gives us the flexibility to leverage manufacturer telematics as well as deploying the right hardware for the right machine without having to undergo complex IT projects, we’re excited about the capability this brings us.”

Uphire, a specialist Access Equipment rental operation with branches in NSW and QLD supplying all types of hire solutions for all project sizes, continues to set the benchmark for Access Equipment across the country.

The deployment will see all of the Uphire fleets across its Access Equipment and Traffic Management ranges brought together in a single software platform.

This will enable Uphire to provide its customers and operational teams a single command centre view of the assets in their scope, complete with ERP integration, workflow automation and analytics.

With the fleet telematics and the ERP data flowing through to Perspio, Uphire now has a contextual view of its fleet in real-time and is underway with automating servicing, operations, and management workflows.

With Access equipment being quite varied, telemetry systems all have different attributes and capabilities, from simple location monitoring to access control,” Inauro’s Co-CEO Craig Kesby said.

“Building from this, we’re excited to now support Uphire with the ability to create further integrations to customer safety systems, equipment pre-starts and many others through a single interface.”

Inauro is an Australian real-time data fusion company that specialises in leveraging data from IoT devices, digital forms, ERP, CRM and other enterprise systems to create value in operational workflows.

By leveraging their cutting-edge data fusion platform, Inauro specialises in providing real-time awareness and recommendations for operational teams to make better decisions.

With the rapid emergence of connected equipment and new software solutions in the Rental and Construction industries, the Perspio platform gives Uphire the ideal foundation to capture new safety and efficiency benefits for their own operations and for their customers.
